Inspired, Compelling, A Leader. As the President of Keevan Sadock Design, John is dedicated to delivering consistently exceptional work. John has evoked the same principle in his multidisciplinary team of design professionals.
A native Chicagoan, John was inspired by Chicago’s gifted architects and designers. His passion for design led to his decision to earn his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Harrington College of Design. Upon completing his studies, John joined the firm of Keevan Sadock Design, Ltd., working closely with the firm’s owner and partners as a project designer.
After several years of service at Keevan Sadock Design, John was engaged by the Midwest Stock Exchange in Chicago to oversee the design and construction of their new headquarters. John returned to Keevan Sadock Design following the completion of the project’s relocation. His leadership led him to purchase the firm from its partners.
Under the sole ownership of Keevan Sadock Design, John continues to deliver design excellence and exceptional client service for which the firm has built its reputation for over 90 years. His diverse client base of residential and workplace environments, includes private residences, corporations, financial and banking institutions, professional service firms and country clubs.
John is a registered Interior Designer in the State of Illinois and NCIDQ certified. He is a professional member and past president of the Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). For three decades, John’s leadership in ASID has supported the charitable function of the organization. John’s other social responsibilities include donating his time to non-profit organizations.
Diligent, Enthusiastic, Dedicated. Kolleen Elmer began her career with Keevan Sadock Design in 1998. Today she is Design Director for the firm’s residential and workplace clients.
Her leadership is synonymous with thoughtfully articulated design solutions including private residences, financial institutions, community banks, corporate offices, medical facilities and country clubs. She collaborates with architects, developers and general contractors to ensure a seamless product for her clients.
A Chicago native, Kolleen enjoys a city rich in architecture and culture where she earned her degree in interior architecture at Harrington College of Design. Her project work ranges from Chicago’s metro area to California and Florida.
Kolleen’s commitment to the environment has fostered her dedication to sustainable design. Working with architects and furniture manufacturers, Kolleen incorporates green products and materials into her design solutions.
